Consulting & Collaboration Our consulting activities are carried out through collaboration with in-country counterparts. We have a strong international reputation for working closely and effectively with our clients and their stakeholders. Mobility and Migration Short Term Visitor and Business Movements, 2007, commissioned by International Organisation for Migration, for IOM’s World Migration Report Series. Internal Mobility and Health in China, for IOM/CASS conference, February 2005 in Guangzhou, IOM/DFID commissioned study. ‘Balancing the Benefits and Costs of Skilled Migration in the Asia-Pacific Region’, commissioned chapter for World Migration Report (2005), International Organization for Migration, Geneva. Three projects on The Ratification of the 1990 UN Convention on the Rights of All Migrant Workers and Their Families, 2004-05, in collaboration with Dr Nicola Piper (National University of Singapore) and Researchers in Bangladesh, New Zealand, South Korea, etc funded by UNESCO. Migration and Vulnerability to HIV/AIDS in NE Asia and S. Asia, 2003, funded by UNDP Delhi, Coordinator of project, collaboration with researchers in India, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, China and North and South Korea. 'Overview of Trends and Characteristics of Labour Migration in Asia', commissioned paper presented at Labour Migration Ministerial Consultations for Countries of Origin in Asia, 1-2 April, 2003. Obstacles to the Ratification of the 1990 UN Convention on the Rights of all Migrant Workers and their Families in Bangladesh, Indonesia, Malaysia, Korea, Japan, New Zealand and Singapore, 2002-03, in collaboration with Dr Nicola Piper (National University of Singapore), UNESCO funded, Bangkok.
